Communication plays a big part in numerous business activities. But communication is only successful when both the sender and the receiver understand the same information as a result of the communication.

Messages muddled by the sender, or misinterpreted by the recipient can cause confusion, wasted effort and missed opportunity.

Remove two of the cards and distribute the remainder to the participants Participants may not show, exchange or pass the cards between group members They do not know how many cards, shapes or colours the group has. So their objective is to establish this and then discover the shape and colour of the missing cards Observe the group interaction (participants learn by doing) Note the many points that will come out of this activity Be prepared for an informative debrief.
It is interesting how some teams try to cheat by looking at their colleagues' cards. However, like playing a card game, it is not easy to see the shapes on other people's cards. Other teams hide their cards so the others cannot see them and ensure strict obedience of the rules. The game produces a lot of information about honesty, trust, communication, teamwork, interpersonal skills, negotiation, perceptions, problem solving, planning, influencing and many more! A popular training activity for trainers and participants. It is easy to run and ideal for a meaningful training course, seminar or conference.
